You can use your joy, imagination, and a little magic to create dragon eyes and eggs, fairy gardens, potions, swords, and wands. Mythical creature game challenges, stories, and adventures are also available. Check out the creature mystery bags to find out more about the activities for the weekend!
Disney Sing-alongWe Wish you’ll “Feel the Love Tonight” in our Disney Sing-along! “Be Our Guest” by joining us and “Let it Go” by letting out your inner Disney Princess (or Prince). “Stand Out” for an hour of musical fun!
Dragon Arts & CraftsWelcome to dragon time! Dragons are members of mythology and folklore of many cultures. Dragon’s eyes can mean power, wisdom, insight, and far-seeing. Dragon’s eyes can also represent the mysteries of the universe. Would you like to make your own dragon eye? You can here with clay. Extra time? You can also create a dragon egg. Precious and rare, dragon eggs are associated with magic, power, and good fortune! Both will be ready to take home with you.
Fairy GardensWelcome to fairy time! Fairies are present in mythology around the world. Fairies often teach us about the natural world and the importance of our environment. Fairies bring good fortune and blessings but can also be mischievous. Do you have any fairies in your garden? Fairy gardens can be indoors or out. You can attract fairies by creating a whimsical area for them to live. Using nature and recycled bits, you can use your joy and imagination to create a fairy garden to take home.
Fairy Godmother Story TimeWelcome to story time! Fairy godmothers symbolize the possibility of positive change and the belief that dreams can come true. A fairy godmother will regale you with stories and adventures. Bring your imagination to participate!
Mythical Creatures GamesWelcome to mythical creatures game time! How well do you know your mythical creatures? Draw a Mythical Creature – make a mythical creature to frame and take home. Mythical Creatures Match, test your knowledge of mythical creatures during a matching game. Mythical Creatures Card Game, challenge others’ knowledge of mythical creatures. Mythical Creatures Paper MasksWelcome to mythical creatures mask time! Creatures, large and small, from myths and legends are both good and not. Have you ever wanted to be one of those creatures? Now is your chance! You can choose a creature and make a paper mask to transform into that creature. Take your mask with you to surprise your family and friends!
Mythical Creatures Protection DIYWelcome to mythical creatures protection time! Mythical and legendary creatures are supernatural beings, animals, or hybrids. Some creatures have the power of good and some do not. For protection, you can make a magical sword and your very own wand. The swords are made from recycled materials while the wands are made from natural resources. Both will be ready to take home with you!
Mythical Creatures Science: PotionsWelcome to potions time! You can make potions that relate to unicorns, mermaids, dragons, and fairies! Unicorns, with their white horse-like body and single spiraling horn, are a symbol of innocence and power. Mermaids are seen as protectors and guides of the ocean and its creatures. Dragons are fierce and powerful fire breathers and fairies have all sorts of magic! You can use your science and magic skills to make unicorn foam, mermaid slime, foaming dragon, and fizzing fairy potions. You can take your magical creations home.
Pipe Cleaner Pet DragonsWelcome to pet dragon time! Dragons are prevalent in many cultures and come in all shapes and sizes. Do you want your own pet dragon? You can make the dragon of your dreams using pipe cleaners and a little magic. A perfect pet, you can even take them home!
