Candi has been a Whovian and Trekkie (her word choice, don’t come at us!) for as long as she can remember. She attended her first convention in 1992 and knew she was hooked! She can be found attending 4-6 conventions per year, typically on the eastern seaboard. She has volunteered in diverse departments lending a hand to security, registration and medical. She was even a guest of a convention for the first time last year. In her other life, Candi is a is a board-certified nurse practitioner and licensed registered nurse with over 20 years’ experience in the medical field. An expert in women’s health, she has for the last four years focused on public health. She has even been featured on local radio and virtual town hall meetings.
